Hello AeroJunkies!

Compared to today's windy weather, tomorrow's forecast looks a lot better. Looks like it is going to be sunny with winds at 5-10 mph. For those of you available tomorrow, here is my proposed plan: We will meet at Burlington RC field. I am planning to arrive at around 10am. Depending on the reports of Mitre Field's availability, we can later switch to Mitre, say at around 12-1pm. If Mitre is not available, we can vote tomorrow to either stay in Burlington RC field or move somewhere else. As usual, I will bring my camcorder, my digital camera and my micro plane camera. However, this should not stop you from bringing yours. Our website is in need of some new pictures and fun videos.

Again, I will bring my Fling glider with the mini high-start. If someone is willing or brave enough to try to aero-tow it, we can try that.

Artie - Did you fix your Sophisticated Lady? It would be fun to show off some silent flight to these "brushless power" junkies!

Hope to see you all tomorrow,

Fettah

I'm up for some flying tomorrow, and will have my dad with me as well.

I think my Alpha 450 would tow your glider with no problem - what kind of connection does the glider have? How does it detach from the tow line, do you just fly it out in front of the tow vehicle?

It just has a simple hook, but we can easily detach it in the air by slowing your plane down while I do a quick and short climb. We will see. Thank for offering it. I will bring my camcorder. Maybe we can also set up the on-plane cameras for this flight.

I'll plan on joining you guys at Burlington late morning and onto the other TBD venues.
